More durable than I thought, but also less breathable. In my opinion it’s a great fabric for a light open quilt (5°C or more) when drafts are not too big a deal. Otherwise, the low breathability (compared to the 10D taffeta, which has an excellent breathability) makes it kind of sweaty, and you’ll want to vent your quilt/sleeping bag more often during the night, thus raising the effective temperature rating. I used this fabric for a quilt that I took on the PCT last year, and it held up great, so durability is not a problem. I’m taking it for the AT this year. Also, be advised that the 2 sides are not the same. It’s hard to tell when the fabric is brand new, but after a while, the wrong side becomes a little tacky, while the right side stays smooth and comfortable. I’m sure that some indication on how to tell one side from the other would be appreciated by future buyers
