Description These beautiful handmade stoneware Serving Bowls from Emily Doran Pottery have been hand thrown on the pottery wheel and then glazed in a combination of silk-shiny green and matt oatmeal, overlapping in the middle to create a reactive stripe. Please note this bowl uses two glazes which react together differently each time, creating a unique stripe on every piece. Approx 25cm w x 7cm h Emily Doran is a Potter based in East Sussex, UK. All her pottery is handmade on the pottery wheel and fired in her garden studio. It has been inspired by a love of the coast and sea. She has designed a contemporary collection of tableware that comes in a range of glazes named after the seascapes they evoke. All Emily’s pieces have a tactile quality that shows and is proud of its handmade natures that leaves a visible trace of the making process whether that is the throwing rings inside a mug of finger marks in a pulled handle.
